Our Story
Anniyam Payment began with a simple yet powerful realization: millions of underserved communities in rural India, especially Self-Help Groups (SHGs), faced significant delays and high costs in accessing formal financial systems. Manual processes and inefficiencies in credit linkage created barriers that hindered growth and empowerment. With a vision to become the trusted partner for the unreached, we embarked on a journey to bridge this gap through innovative technology and impactful collaborations.
Our journey was enriched by the invaluable learnings from the EShakti project by NABARD, which digitized over 14 lakh SHGs across 281 districts in 25 states. This large-scale initiative highlighted the transformative potential of digitization in enhancing transparency, accountability, and access to credit for SHGs. Building on these insights, we developed a digital platform tailored to address the unique needs of SHGs, enabling instant onboarding, transparent transactions, and efficient credit linkage. Today, driven by our core value of providing authentic and real-time data, we empower SHGs and financial institutions alike, ensuring financial inclusion reaches even the remotest communities. Our mission remains unwavering: to facilitate sustainable credit access for the unreached and transform lives through innovation and trust.
